Destiny Lanette Henderson, also known as Sukihana, was arrested Thursday afternoon in Florida on drug-related charges. The VH1 Vex celeb and rapper was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell a controlled substance: ecstasy and codeine.

32-year-old Sukihana, hailing from Delaware, is known to have graced the VH1 reality series "Love & Hip Hop: Miami." However, despite her controversial past—where a deadly shooting incident occurred at the Oakland Park Flea Market during her shooting of a video last year—Sukihana's career in music was quite remarkable, climbing into the ranks of Spotify. Her song that was featured "Hood Rats" by Sexyy Red has almost 9 million plays, and her second in line is with Sexyy Red again, "Born by the River," with over 3 million plays.

What is clear is that this is the exact situation of her bond; it is not clear whether she was bonded out of jail after being held on a $7500 bond.

But beyond music, and even the reality TV fame, Sukihana truly set out to make a name for herself as a well-rounded entertainer and mogul. She started doing acting and is active with fans in the social media, where she humbly states her multifaceted career.

She engaged in a lively discussion with influencer Bobbi Althoff on the podcast "The Really Good Podcast," and that pretty much underlined the way she views herself: not only as a musician but as an all-round entertainer and entrepreneur. The legal process behind her arrest is likely to lead toward a lot of media coverage relating to her career and life in general. On her part, as an artist, it will be interesting for critics and fans to see the impact these charges may have on Sukihana and her career.
