Unveiling the Rap Star's Surprising Approach to Parent-Teacher Meetings
Wiz Khalifa, who's super famous for his love of cannabis, said he doesn't hide this part of himself, not even from his kid's teachers.
In a recent podcast interview on Call Her Daddy, Wiz, who's from Pittsburgh, explained that being high is just part of who he is. He said, “If you lived my life and you weren’t high, you’d be messed up.”
The host, Alex Cooper, asked if he goes to his son Sebastian’s school meetings while high. Wiz said yes straight away. He was like, “Yeah, I show up stoned. They expect it. It's not like old times where if you smelled like weed, you were a bad parent. I bet my son even smells like weed.”
Wiz wants to be real with them. He said, “I don’t act fake or like some perfect parent. I am who I am.”
He talked about how weed has helped him, even with his fitness. In a chat with GQ last year, Wiz said weed actually helps him breathe better, which is super important for working out and rapping.
Wiz shared his daily routine too. He goes to bed early, like 10:30 or 11 pm, to be fresh for the next day. But sometimes, he stays up late, till like 2:30 or 5 am, and then wakes up late, around 10 am.
Back in his 20s, Wiz partied a lot and didn’t really care about feeling good the next day. But as he got older and started hitting the gym, he realized how important it is to start the day right. That's why he tries to go to bed early so he can wake up early too.
So, that's the latest on Wiz Khalifa and his pretty chill lifestyle. He’s all about being real, whether it’s with his son's teachers or in his own life.
